Ananda Thandavam :

Writer : Sujatha
Director : A. R. Gandhi Krishna
Producer : Oscar V. Ravi chandran
Music : G. V .Prakash Kumar

Cast : Siddharth Venugopal , Tamanna , Rukmini Vijayakumar, Kitti

Sujatha is one of my favourite writer. The Movie Ananda Thandavam is nothing but his "Privom Santhipom".

I haven't read the book. so i cant compare the movie and book. But after i have seen this movie i was tempted to read the book. In Tamil , the movies based on books are less. We can appreciate the director for his brave and nice attempt.

Raghu is unemployee who is searching for job after his Mechanical Engineering . He lives with his father (Kitti) in ThenKasi. There comes Madhumitha(Tamanna) , a childish girl.

Raghu falls in love with Madhu. Madhu's parents are also willing to give their daughter to Raghu , as a result their enagement is also held . Raghu got a job by the influence of Madhu's Father.
Raghu came back to meet Madhu after a while , he found that Madhu's Parents planned to marry their daughter with Radhakrishnan, a newyork guy.

What happened next forms the rest of the story.

The father and son relationship between Raghu and Kitti is nice. The love bonding between Raghu and Madhu is missing. Tamanna has more scope in this movie and she did well. All the other actors are also good.

Cinematography is at first rate even from the first shot at Falls. Dialogues are note worthy. Script , Background Music and Songs are Okay. Art Direction is perfect. But the movie has bad editing.

Negative : Dragging in post interval .
Positive : Story, Characterisation, Dialogue.

Worth a watch.
